I have met and heard the tragic stories of many parents. PA is a function, by and large, of a custodial ex-partner, although some alienation can start while the couple is still together.

This blog is a story of experiences and observations of dysfunctional Family Law (FLAW), an arena pitting parent against parent, with children as the prize. Due to the gender bias in Family Law, that I have observed, this Blog has evolved from a focus solely on PA to one of the broader Family/Children's Rights area and the impact of Feminist mythology on Canadian Jurisprudence and the Divorce Industry.

The Jack Layton Show on CFRB

I did finally get through and was in the Que for the Jack Layton Show on CFRB today from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and other Astral Radio Stations across Canada but time ran out. I think Layton was advised before hand of the questions and took the soft ones for the most part on the 7 lines. You can easily stream it over your computer if you are out of range of Astral stations otherwise by clicking the button in the upper left. Click the link in the title to get to CFRB or the local Astral station in your community. Maybe they should change the format so the leaders don't get to know the question ahead of time, then they just know the name and location of the individual and what radio station they are listening to. We'll have to wait and see where he shows up again and, of course, the schedule of the other leaders on this show. I can only suggest to continue dialing until you get through. My question was directly related to PMM-483 on equal and shared parenting. Mr. Layton also brought up the issue of guns and jail sentencing and more police without getting to the root cause of the gun violence in our major centres. I would have brought up one of the possible issues related to father removal by the legal system to a 14% of the month time frame, if at all, that happens in most cases. Father removal from their children is having a deleterious impact on our children.
