I have met and heard the tragic stories of many parents. PA is a function, by and large, of a custodial ex-partner, although some alienation can start while the couple is still together.

This blog is a story of experiences and observations of dysfunctional Family Law (FLAW), an arena pitting parent against parent, with children as the prize. Due to the gender bias in Family Law, that I have observed, this Blog has evolved from a focus solely on PA to one of the broader Family/Children's Rights area and the impact of Feminist mythology on Canadian Jurisprudence and the Divorce Industry.

Fathers 4 Justice Canada endorses Conservative Party.

1-888-F4J Canada Press release Contact: Kris Titus Phone: 1-888-345-2262 ext. 704 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 12, 2008 Fathers 4 Justice Canada endorses Conservative Party. At the conclusion of their own lively election campaign, which included high level non violent direct actions on Jack Layton's roof and other locations, and trading cards that brandish party leaders as villains like the Riddler and the Joker and Heros like the Green Lantern and Superman, Fathers 4 Justice Canada will be endorsing the Conservative Party in this election as pro equal parenting. The group has been attending town hall meetings and contacting candidates and keeping score with report cards. If you would like to see where individual candidates stand visit: http://www.fathers-4-justice-canada.ca/content.asp?DocId=16 "There is no question the Conservative Party has historically taken the strongest stand for equal parenting rights. We will give them one more chance to finish what many Conservative party members have tried to start," says Kris Titus, National Coordinator for Fathers 4 Justice Canada."There are some fathers rights groups who have lost hope, but we're not one of them." The group points to the historical strong support for equal parenting rights from members like Jay Hill and Maurice Vellacott, whose Private Member Motion PMM-483 garnered 14 Conservative seconders and many other supporters across party lines. "We have assurances that PMM483 will be reborn in some fashion and equal parenting WILL be part of the political agenda when Parliament resumes. We have covered the alphabet from A-Z and there are some wonderful candidates willing to stand for the rights of children and parents after separation and divorce." The group has also listed approximately 60 individual candidates who have shown strong support for equal parenting rights. "Just because the election will soon be over does not mean our work ends. On the contrary, we're just beginning to show the country what Fathers 4 Justice Canada can do. We will be on constant Politician Watch to determine where elected officials stand on equal parenting and hold them accountable." Stephen Harper must now prove to Canadian parents he really is one of them.
